Donald Trump upcoming NFT
During an interview, Trump shared the success of his previous collections, each of which sold out 45,000 digital cards within a single day. Trump also stated,Â
âThe whole thing sold out: 45,000 of the cards. And I did it three times [and] Iâm going to do another one, because the people want me to do another one. Itâs unbelievable spirit. Beautiful.â
However, Trump initially hinted at a fourth NFT collection during a gala for his mugshot NFT holders at Mar-a-Lago in May. At the time, he expressed a more cautious approach, saying, âI believe in supply and demand. And as you know, one did great, two did great, three did great. At some point maybe that turns around.â
The former presidentâs growing comfort with NFTs and the broader crypto industry coincides with increasing support from the crypto community for his reelection campaign. In May, Trumpâs campaign began accepting cryptocurrency donations, marking a significant shift in his approach to digital assets. According to a Wall Street Journal report citing data from the Federal Election Commission (FEC), Trumpâs campaign raised approximately $3 million in crypto last quarter out of a total $331 million.
Further solidifying his ties with the crypto sector, Trump recently announced that pro-Bitcoin senator J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) would be his running mate. This decision reflects the ongoing rally of the crypto industry behind Trumpâs campaign. Notable figures in the crypto world, including Kraken co-founder Jesse Powell and Gemini co-founders Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, have donated significant sums to Trumpâs reelection efforts and related super PACs. Among these super PACs are the newly formed America PAC and the pro-crypto Fairshake.

He highlighted the importance of the United States maintaining its competitive edge in the crypto industry: âWe have a good foundation. Itâs a baby. Itâs an infant right now. But I donât want to be responsible for allowing another country to take over this sphere.â
