According to Techub News, the Legislative Yuan of Taiwan has passed the third reading of the amendments to some articles of the "Fraud Crime Prevention Act" and the "Communications Security and Surveillance Act", which will include currency dealers. In the future, businesses or personnel providing virtual asset services and third-party payment services must complete money laundering prevention and service capacity registration or login. Otherwise, they will be subject to a maximum sentence of 2 years in prison or a fine of no more than NT$5 million.
