The bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange FTX and the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) have agreed to a settlement of up to $12.7 billion, which is currently awaiting approval from a Delaware judge. According to the latest court documents filed, the two parties have been negotiating for the past few months. The CFTC agreed that as long as FTX complies with the restructuring plan, it will not charge any compensation. The hearing will be held on August 6.
