🇵🇼 Palau joins hands with Soramitsu to issue and manage government bonds using blockchain technology! The project will be tested this fiscal year and may be deployed next year.

💰 The contract is worth hundreds of millions of yen, saving more than half the cost compared to traditional technology. Receive support from the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

🌐 Palau also partnered with Ripple Labs to create a USD-pegged stablecoin on the XRP Ledger platform. This project has entered phase two at the end of 2023.

🆔 Palau's digital residency program uses the Root Name System, providing blockchain ID in the form of NFT with KYC verification, deployed on the BNB chain from June 2022.

🌏 Soramitsu also supports many CBDC projects across Asia and the Pacific, such as the bakong project in Cambodia and DLak in Laos.
