**Constellation Network Opens Hypergraph Blockchain to Developers**

On July 15, Constellation Network unveiled its Hypergraph blockchain to developers at a global hackathon, in collaboration with IBM and Panasonic. This event marks the launch of Constellation’s “meta graph” application layer, allowing third-party developers to create Web3 applications or new layer 1 blockchains on Hypergraph.

Hypergraph, a “Layer 0” protocol, validates and stores data from interoperable applications known as “meta graphs.” It supports various data types, interfaces with external sources, and accepts mainstream programming languages like Java.

CEO Ben Jorgensen emphasized the importance of interoperability and collaboration in advancing Web3 and blockchain technology.

Constellation has been working with the US Department of Defense since 2019 to explore blockchain applications for national security. The company is also partnered with the US Space Force and Treasury Department.

The native token, DAG, secures the Hypergraph network through staking and is poised to benefit from the growth of new metagraph applications.
