What is STEPN?
STEPN is a Web3 lifestyle app with Social-Fi and Game-Fi elements, it is considered the first game of the Move to Earn movement. To participate in running, users need to be equipped with NFT Sneakers (NFT Running Shoes) so they can walk and jog to earn tokens and NFTs.
STEPN has two types of tokens: GMT and GST. Players can choose to rent or trade their NFT Sneakers on the STEPN in-app Marketplace, user earnings are stored into the in-app Wallet, which has a built-in Swap function.
Who are the founding team of STEPN?
STEPN was created by the Find Satoshi Lab team – a fintech studio based in Australia. This team won the 2021 Solana Ignition Hackathon Gaming Track and is part of the DeFi Alliance Gaming team.
What is Green Satoshi Token (GST)?
GST (Green Satoshi Tokens) are earned as users run or move, #GST tokens serve as a substitute for experience points and in-app currency. Users need to equip Sneakers #NFT to be able to walk, jog or run outdoors to earn GST, which can be used to level up and mint new Sneakers.
To be able to buy NFT sneakers and participate in running to earn money, users need to have $SOL coin, the price of each pair of NFT shoes of #StepN can be up to 10-15 SOL (each SOL costs about 120-135 USDT depending on the time in April 2022), equivalent to 1200-1350 USDT (about 30-38 million VND/pair of NFT sneaker).
What is Green Metaverse Token (GMT)?
GMT coin is a governance token used in the STEPN app with a limited supply of 6 billion tokens. Players purchase GMT coins to burn in the STEPN app, used to access features offered by STEPN, such as minting new Shoes, upgrading high-level Gems, and participating in governance voting.
