Recently, Japan's largest IVS Entrepreneur Conference was successfully held in Kyoto. This conference adheres to the theme of "crossing borders" and aims to further expand the entrepreneurial community and enhance talent mobility. (IVS Crypto focuses on the development and application of blockchain technology, exploring the future of Web3.0 through games, entertainment and AI.)

During the conference, IOST co-organized the “FORTUNE NIGHT” and “Web3 SUSHI & GEISHA Night” side events with OKCoinJapan, DEA and HashPort on July 4th and 5th respectively. Both events attracted many participants with their unique themes.

FORTUNE NIGHT

“FORTUNE NIGHT” is a side event of IVS Kyoto 2024, co-organized by IOST, OKCoinJapan, Digital Entertainment Asset (DEA) and Zilliqa.

During the event, star projects DEA and Zilliqa gave roadshow introductions. In addition, Dr. Wada, an important ecological partner of IOST, also announced at the event that a new application called "Story Chain" will be launched on the IOST platform.

At the same time, the event organizer also organized interesting lucky draws for participating users. The rewards included DEAP Token, IOST Token and OneKey hardware wallet with the OKCoinJapan logo provided by OKCoinJapan.

Web3 SUSHI & GEISHA Night

At the Heian Shrine in the ancient city of Kyoto, IOST co-organized an IVS conference vice-chair event with HashPort, HashKey DX, Kyuzan and BOESIN with traditional Japanese style — “Web3 SUSHI & GEISHA Night”.

The venue was located in a Japanese garden from the Meiji era and brought together Japanese crypto industry stakeholders, professionals, and international Web3 enthusiasts. During the event, co-host and IOST node partner Mr. Li of HashKey DX hosted a toast ceremony.

More than 150 people participated in the "Web3 SUSHI & GEISHA Night" event, and the participants experienced delicious Japanese sushi and traditional Japanese "Geisha Dance" ("Geisha Dance" is a 200-year-old dance performance in Kyoto, Japan.)

The IOST team thanks the community for their continued support. IOST will continue to hold community-centric events in Japan in the second half of the year. In addition, IOST will continue to participate in the WebX Asia 2024 event held in Japan, so stay tuned!

Introduction to IOST

IOST — — Web3.0 blockchain operating system.

Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Singapore, IOST is an enterprise-level blockchain application platform developed for online service providers, supported by global first-tier dollar investment institutions such as Sequoia, Matrix Partners, and ZhenFund.

IOST2.0 has extremely high throughput and availability, and is a true Web3.0 blockchain operating system.

IOST2.0 — The Merge IOST adopts the Beacon Chain + Smart Chain architecture solution to be compatible with EVM, and the two will use the standard Engine API for communication.

IOST2.0 is continuously evolving and upgrading multiple sub-chains. Among these sub-chains, there are both general EVM smart contract chains and special-purpose sub-chains, such as NFT chains, game chains, AI Native chains, etc.

Target

The goals of horizontal expansion and high throughput are achieved through the design of the POB consensus mechanism and the second-layer expansion solution. By developing an effective way for the community's own network, a platform for third-party developers, creators and enterprises to realize value is provided.

in principle

Improve transaction performance without sacrificing the key attributes of decentralization, namely: protecting privacy, open participation, and protecting the community from malicious attacks. IOST is more decentralized than EOS based on the DPOS mechanism and more scalable than the ETH smart contract platform.

IOST, witness the future of blockchain technology.
