Inferno Drainer is a group that offers a multi-chain crypto laundering service and traps its victims through sophisticated phishing sites. This group ceased its operations after stealing over $80 million from more than 5,000 victims between 2022 and 2023. However, it announced in May that it was continuing its operations due to "increasing demand" and the withdrawal of its competitors from the market.

Railgun has denied allegations that it was used by North Korea and other US-sanctioned entities to launder stolen digital assets. Railgun stated that these allegations, which it described as "misleading reporting", did not reflect the truth and stated that it could not access the Lazarus Group's system thanks to the 'Special Evidence of Innocence' feature.
