Mega Bitcoin (BTC) Survey Results Revealed: Are Investors Bearish or Bullish?
In 2024, as Bitcoin (BTC) and other cryptocurrencies attempt to recover after recent sharp fluctuations, Coingecko conducted a survey on cryptocurrency investors' market expectations.
The survey was conducted from June 25 to July 8 and involved 2,558 people, of which 94% of respondents said they hold cryptocurrencies.
The survey results show that nearly half of the respondents are optimistic about cryptocurrencies. Although the initial rebound after the Bitcoin halving event has been pulled back, 49% of participants still expect the cryptocurrency market to rise, which is almost twice the proportion of respondents (25%) who expect the market to fall.
"It has only been two months since the Bitcoin halving event, and the cryptocurrency market sentiment is divided, and no strong consensus has been formed. The latest survey shows that although the market correction reversed the initial rise after the halving, 49.3% of cryptocurrency participants are still optimistic about the market. Specifically, 26.1% of respondents feel somewhat optimistic, slightly more than the 23.2% who are completely optimistic."

CoinGecko research analyst Lin Yuqian (transliteration) commented on the survey results: "The large number of neutral sentiments may reflect participants' uncertainty about the state of the cryptocurrency market, or indicate that they are waiting for further developments in order to form their own market views."
