ChainCatcher reported that according to The Block, Tread.fi, an algorithmic crypto trading platform founded by former Morgan Stanley employees, has completed a $3.5 million seed round of financing. This round of financing was led by New Form Capital, with participation from Aquanow, Varys Capital, GBV Capital, Thanefield Capital and others.
Tread.fi founder and CEO David Jeong, formerly vice president of quantitative research at Morgan Stanley, declined to comment on valuation, but said the round was structured as a rolling Simple Agreement for Future Equity (SAFE) with a symbolic side letter, setting the stage for the next round in the first quarter of 2025.
