Sydney Sweeney’s Twitter account hacked to promote Memecoin

BlockBeats reported that on July 3, Cointelegraph reported that the X (original Twitter) account of American actress Sydney Sweeney was hacked, and a Meme token named after her was promoted in a now-deleted post.

The meme token SWEENEY saw trading volume of over $10 million within two hours of its launch on July 2, thanks to several promotional posts from Sweeney’s X account.

This is the second time Sweeney’s X account has been hacked to promote a crypto token. In January, her account was hacked to promote the Solana token MILK.
