Golden Finance reported that Bitcoin re-staking protocol Lombard raised $16 million. Polychain Capital led this round of financing for Lombard, and other investors included BabylonChain, Inc., dao5, Franklin Templeton, Foresight Ventures, Mirana Ventures, Mantle EcoFund and Nomad Capital. Lombard will use the funds to expand its Bitcoin re-staking ecosystem and develop together with Bitcoin staking protocol Babylon. Lombard releases liquidity by issuing liquid and profitable staked Bitcoin tokens LBTC.
