How this phish works:

  1. The site is set up to look like a mining platform active globally. 

  2. They falsely claim to be partnered with sites like CMC,coinGecko etc.

  3. The site automatically requests a wallet connection as soon as the page is loaded.

  4. You are required to ‘activate the account’ to start, by clicking ‘Earn Eth’ and ‘confirm’.

  5. This calls an approve function to an EOA that gives them access to all your funds.

  6. The scammer then calls a transfer which will lead to a loss of all funds in your wallet.
