📈Bitfarms, the Bitcoin mining company, has increased its BTC production by 21% in June, mining 189 BTC and selling 134 for a cool $8.8 million. Despite a 51% production drop compared to June 2023 due to the halving event, Bitfarms is still on track to reach its 21 EH/s target by 2024. The company has also thwarted a takeover attempt by competitor Riot Platforms, who bought a 14.9% stake in Bitfarms but failed to acquire more. Meanwhile, Bitfarms is expanding its operations in the US and upgrading its mining fleet. So, it's not all about the halving, folks!
