As of this morning, the eyes of cryptocurrency investors were turned to the Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek. Connected to Bloomberg HT - Habertürk screens, Şimşek made many remarkable statements about the country's economy.
Speaking about the country's economy as well as tax developments in crypto assets and stock market earnings, Şimşek said in his last statement:
“Additional taxation of capital gains requires additional work.
We will include crypto assets within the scope of tax. Stock market revenues are not the subject of the current package. We are working on it.
No field will remain unregistered. All profits will be taxed at a reasonable level. "There will be no area left untaxed."
It seems that the tax rate to be imposed on the crypto market and stock market earnings in Turkey will continue to be discussed for a while.
