The Ethereum (ETH) Foundation has provided detailed information regarding the discontinuation of Goerli testnet support. The foundation stated that the Dencoon upgrade will be the last upgrade on the Goerli testnet. Therefore, developers of applications and tools are recommended to use the Sepolia testnet for developing dapps, smart contracts, EVMs, and other related applications. Additionally, stakers and infrastructure providers are encouraged to utilize the Wholesky testnet. It's important to note that once the Dencoon upgrade is activated on the Goerli testnet, all clients and the Ethereum Foundation development team will cease validator operations three months afterward or one month after the mainnet upgrade. Developers and stakeholders should plan accordingly for this transition. #EthereumWhales #Goerli #testnet

Second #ETH testnet successfully simulates Shanghai hard fork The Sepolia testnet was enabling validators to withdraw rewards earned from adding or approving blocks to the blockchain. There is one more test, on Ethereum’s Goerli testnet, that is planned before Shanghai goes live.

Is it worth it to participate in the testnet?Participation in testnetworks can be useful for a variety of purposes. Here are a few reasons to participate in testnets: Functionality checks: testnets help developers test the functionality of new features and functionality before they are introduced on the main network. Security checks: testnets allow you to test the security of your network and identify possible vulnerabilities before the main network is up and running. Gaining experience: Taking part in testnets can help developers and users gain experience with new features and functionality. Getting rewarded: some projects offer rewards for participating in testnets. Taking part in the community: participation in testnetworks can help you join the community of developers and users of the project. However, you should keep in mind that participation in tesnetas may be risky and will not always provide real terms of using the product. Therefore, before participating in a testnet, you should familiarize yourself with the rules and risks associated with participation in testnets, and take appropriate precautions. #testnet #buildtogether #crypto2023 #test

Is it worth taking part in the tesnets?Participating in a testnet can be worth it for individuals who are interested in learning more about blockchain technology or who want to test new features or updates before they are implemented on the mainnet. Here are some potential benefits of participating in a testnet: Learning opportunity: Testnets provide a safe and controlled environment for individuals to experiment with blockchain technology without risking real funds. It can be an excellent opportunity to learn about the technical aspects of blockchain, such as how transactions are processed and how nodes interact with one another. Early access to new features: Testnets often allow users to test new features or updates before they are implemented on the mainnet. This can give individuals a head start in understanding and utilizing new features, which may provide a competitive advantage once they are available on the mainnet. Opportunity to contribute to the development of the network: Participating in a testnet allows users to provide feedback and report bugs, which can help improve the network's performance and stability. This can be especially valuable for developers who want to contribute to the open-source community. However, it's worth noting that testnets may not be suitable for everyone. They may require technical knowledge, and the rewards for participating may be minimal or non-existent. Additionally, the experience of using a testnet may not be representative of the actual experience of using the network once it goes live on the mainnet. In summary, participating in a testnet can be worth it for individuals who are interested in learning more about blockchain technology, want to test new features, or contribute to the development of the network. However, it may not be suitable for everyone and may require technical knowledge. #testnet #test #crypto2023 #free #LearnCrypto
