After a brief recovery in prices over the weekend, the cryptocurrency market experienced another downturn. Bitcoin dropped by 5%, reaching approximately $55,000, while Ethereum is now trading below $2,900. Many top 100 altcoins saw their prices decrease by about 10%.

Leading the declines were BRETT and PEPE, each falling by 13%, followed by JUP and WIF at 12%, and ENA at 11%.

The fear and greed index remains in the fear zone, sitting at 28.
