IOTA unveiled the biggest upgrade IOTA Rebased

The IOTA Foundation has proposed rebasing #IOTA ’s #Layer1  to introduce a fully decentralized protocol, offering Layer 1 programmability with support for #MoveVM  and #EVM , scalability exceeding 50,000 TPS and $IOTA staking capabilities.

A governance vote will determine whether to adopt the new protocol or maintain the current network. If approved, the new mainnet could launch following a testnet phase, security audits, and exchange integrations, unlocking advanced programmability to drive industry demand and ecosystem growth.

#Polygon 's #AggLayer has integrated #MoveVM solutions from Movement Labs, combining liquidity and users from various blockchains, including Move and #Ethereum .

Polygon has also announced the rebranding of its token from $MATIC to POL, which will be used for gas and staking. The update will take place on September 4.
