The Kamala-Trump debate was an embarrassment for America. Last night’s event turned into a disaster. Trump made bizarre claims, such as "immigrants eat cats and dogs," while Kamala failed to offer real solutions to the nation’s major issues.

On immigration, there were no answers despite projections of 3.3 million immigrants in 2024, contributing $8.9 trillion to the economy and $1.2 trillion in federal tax revenue over the next decade.

Climate change was ignored, even though the U.S. faces a 30% increase in climate disasters, costing over $300 billion annually. Neither candidate proposed a plan to tackle this growing crisis.

On healthcare, nearly 30 million Americans remain uninsured, drug prices have risen by 25%, and both Kamala and Trump barely addressed the issue.

The wealth gap continues to widen, with 10% of Americans holding 70% of the wealth, and strikes are on the rise nationwide. Still, no plans were offered to address economic inequality.

In post-debate analysis, Kamala was declared the winner, with betting odds shifting in her favor. However, neither candidate presented the leadership that America urgently needs.

The country deserves better.

The Kamala-Trump debate is now over, and the mainstream media is rushing to declare her the winner. But Americans aren’t buying it.
Kamala carried herself as a typical politician, sticking to rehearsed talking points and failing to address the core issues facing the country.
Speaking of rehearsed talking points, Trump quickly called her out on an economic “sound bite” that was apparently fed to her.
“That’s just a sound bite. They gave her that to say,” Trump declared before retorting, “She doesn't have a plan [for the economy]. She copied Biden's plan. And it's like four sentences, like, 'Run, Spot, run.’”
On the topic of abortion, Kamala declared, “The freedom to make decisions about one's own body should not be made by the government.”
But whoopsie. Kamala forgot that her administration denied that same freedom to Americans when Biden’s vaccine mandates essentially forced 100 million American workers to “get vaccinated” or lose their jobs.

Then, the moderators jumped into the debate to defend Kamala Harris.
Megyn Kelly lamented, “The absolute gall of ABC to keep ‘fact-checking’ ONLY Trump while letting her lie in every answer is infuriating.”
This exchange captures the tone of the entire night, as David Muir—known for giving Kamala Harris 100% positive news coverage—focused on “fact-checking” Trump in real-time as he detailed reports of eaten pets in Springfield, Ohio.
Kamala went as low as to push the “bloodbath” and “very fine people” hoax that were debunked by even the mainstream media.
Trump’s “bloodbath” comments were in reference to the auto industry, while Kamala failed to deliver the full context of Trump’s “very fine people” comments with respect to Charlottesville.
Of course, the moderators offered no fact-checks on Kamala’s false claims.
In a surprise moment, ABC's Linsey Davis challenged Kamala on her socialist ideas to do away with private insurance.
"In 2017, you supported Bernie Sanders' proposal to do away with private insurance and create a government-run healthcare system."
Like fracking, Kamala pushed the idea that her values "haven't changed" while reversing course on every policy idea that doesn’t benefit her chances of winning.
Kamala also said she and Tim Walz were proud gun owners and wouldn't take away anyone's guns.
She forgot that she literally called for a gun "buy-back program" on NBC News.
While Democrats push the idea that Trump is a “threat to Democracy,” he flipped the script on them, mentioning the fact that the Democrats staged a palace coup against Biden before coronating Kamala as the nominee.
Speaking of Joe Biden, Trump asked on stage before millions of people, “Where is our President?”
“We have a president that doesn't know he's alive,” he declared as he mentioned the Democrats “threw him out of a campaign like a dog.”
Trump continued to go on offense regarding the crisis at the border, which has resulted in millions of illegal aliens pouring into the country.
Trump challenged Kamala to leave the debate immediately and convince President Biden to sign an executive order to close the border, saying she could wake Joe Biden up from his nap and get it done today.
Kamala made the mistake of accusing Trump of dividing the country based on race.
But whoopsie. Her hypocrisy was exposed as she failed to acknowledge that there’s a video of her nodding in agreement with the idea of special laws for Black people.
Kamala’s closing statements fell flat as she made the pitch to the American people that voting for her is voting for “a new way forward.”
Except there’s one harsh reality: she's literally been in power for 3.5 years.
In the final moments, Trump delivered a crushing blow to Kamala Harris, mentioning that she continues to promise “wonderful things” but hasn’t done anything while in power to fix it.
He harped on the Biden-Harris administration’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan that resulted in 13 US soldiers dead, saying, “I rebuilt our entire military. She gave a lot of it away to the Taliban. She gave it to Afghanistan.”

Who won and who lost the presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris depends on what media you read. Also, the point of view and discussions circle around which presidential candidate best addresses one’s personal interests. 
Kamala Harris and Trump traded barbs for more than 90 minutes on Tuesday. The debate was light on substantive policy and heavy on personal attacks. It started with a handshake and ended with the candidates painting one another as awful leaders who should not be elected.
The key takeaways? Trump called Kamala a Marxist. He tried to portray her as a far-left candidate who would pursue open-border policies, and ban fracking. He said “She has a plan to confiscate everybody’s gun.”

He also linked her to President Joe Biden, painting them as fundamentally the same type of politician. Trump also accused Harris of planning to defund the police.
Harris’ behavior was that of a “coached celebrity” as described by viewers on X (formerly twitter). At several points, she appeared to be suppressing her laughter as Trump spoke. 
Harris questioned Trump’s fitness for office and called him a “disgrace”. She also attempted to dismiss Trump as an object of ridicule. 
Kamala told Trump it is “absolutely well-known that these dictators and autocrats are rooting for you to be president again.” She added that it is “so clear they can manipulate you with flattery and favors, and so many military leaders who you have worked with have told me you are a disgrace.”
Kamala and Trump on the Israel-Gaza, Russia-Ukraine, wars
When asked about the war in Gaza, Trump and Kamala reached for their usual talking points. Kamala said she backs a ceasefire deal in Gaza that would see the release of Israeli captives. In addition she renewed her pledge to continue to arm Israel. She also voiced support for the two-state solution.

On his part, Trump stood his ground that the war in the Middle East would not have broken out if he were in office. He also accused Harris of having a bias against Israel.

On the subject of Ukraine, the two candidates did not appear to be on the same page. Trump said he would push for a deal to end the conflict. Harris stressed the need to support Ukrainian forces to push back against the Russian invasion.
Trump argued that the lack of leadership in the Biden administration allowed Russia to invade Ukraine. He said: “I think it’s in the US’s best interest to get this war finished and just get it done and negotiate a deal because we have to stop all of these human lives from being destroyed.”
Harris slammed Trump’s reluctance to pledge full-fledged support for Ukraine. She said “Understand, our European allies — NATO allies — are so thankful that you are no longer president and that we understand the importance of the greatest military the world has known, which is NATO.”
Global voices on the Trump debate – Who won?
Minutes following the debate, pop star Taylor Swift officially endorsed Harris. It is reported that Taylor Swift turned off her comments on Instagram after endorsing Kamala. Andrew Tate took to X saying “Well its official. Taylor Swift is endorsing Kamala so I guess I’m voting Trump.” 
After and during the debate, Candice Owens, a political commentator said, “Kamala Harris is insufferable. I cannot suffer this much longer.” 
She adds “It is so shocking to me that Kamala’s entire strategy here is to just appeal to women with emotion. She clearly knows every question and is well-rehearsed in making every answer emotional. Why is everything in politics so unbelievably fake and gay?”
Another commentator, Matt Walsh, said “Kamala baited Trump by making fun of his rallies. Trump took the bait, got angry, and started rambling. First misstep by Trump in this debate.” Elon Musk has had much to say after the debate.

Billionaire Bill Ackman said “The world is in flames because of the weak leadership and failed foreign policy of the Biden-Kamala Harris administration. Incredible that (Kamala) calls (Trump) weak. Compare the effective deterrence of Trump’s first term’s foreign policy with no new wars with Biden’s infamous ‘Don’t.’”
He adds, “‘Don’t’ has only induced our enemies to attack our allies, and that is prima facie evidence of the failure of Biden-Harris’s foreign policy. And that’s before we discuss the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.”
ABC has come under negative spotlight for being hard on Trump and practically giving Kamala a free pass. Shaun Maguire, a partner at Sequoia says “ABC has let Harris get away with the Charlottesville hoax, bloodbath hoax, police officers dying on J6 hoax, etc. But they fact check Trump on animals in Ohio… when he was correct”
