#LighProtocol , a zkLayer on #Solana , partners with #HeliusLabs , a Solana development optimization service, to launch ZK Compression to expand the Solana network. ZK Compression uses state compression to store data on Solana's cheaper ledger space instead of its more expensive account space. It stores a hash of off-chain data on-chain for verification using sparse state trees, which can reduce storage costs by up to 5000x.
