1. Blindly trusting the tech
Remember Metaverse Lands? Major NFT projects?
Everything about the tech looked amazing until the entire market collapsed with very few players still standing today.

Remember, in crypto, we're buying into narratives, hype, and marketing. Not tech.
Most projects apart from $BTC, $ETH, and $SOL are likely to fall 90%+ once the bull market ends.
Make sure you invest with this in mind.

2. Overdiversification
Diversification is good where you don't have an edge... but you can spread your money too thin.
Having controlled, strong bets is better than investing in 100 different areas with weak conviction.

3. Exchange Risk Mitigation
FTX... Need I say more?
One of my biggest lessons learned from the previous cycle was to never keep money on an exchange- no matter how good it may seem.

Exchanges can get hacked, you can get locked out of your account, or worse- an FTX-style collapse can wipe out your portfolio.
Only keep the money you need for trading on an exchange.
Keep the rest somewhere safe such as a hard wallet.

4. Increasing risk as the cycle matures
Doubling down on risk as the cycle matures is risky if you're not an experienced investor.
You can easily get caught buying tops and never walk away with what you make.

My best tip for new investors is to use my rebalancing method:
Whenever one part of your portfolio gets too big, rebalance the profits into stables (or other sectors, depending on the cycle)
This ensures you walk away with some money- rather than betting everything and losing.
