Recently, I realized something: whenever arbitrage is discussed, there will always be novices with zero foundation and zero understanding trying to leverage it.
Thinking back to when I first entered the circle in 2017, instead of casually doing arbitrage and quantitative trading with over 100% returns, I foolishly risked 20,000 on a gamble, and by 2018, I ended up with a complete loss. Later, I honestly engaged in arbitrage, and the process and results were much more comfortable than gambling.
The biggest challenge for a person is to overcome the biases they do not recognize. How to realize that one's thinking is merely a reorganization and summary of past biases, rather than a true advancement, is a difficult task. It requires profound events to bring about change and lessons. Let's encourage each other~
