The primitive ideas of “heaven” and “hell” also assume the ignorant notion that one’s happiness is based on external conditions. “Rivers of milk and honey” and unlimited sex with “72 virgins” will make you happy.

But heaven and hell is created by your own mind.

The mind which creates hell on earth, full of jealousy, lust and anger; enslaves people, terrorizes, cheats for “conversion”, will suffer in its own hell wherever it will go.

No “Jesus”, no “Prophet” can save you. Rather these dogmas only make hell, here and hereafter.

There can be no “spiritual” practice when the aim is an external-focused heaven. It is merely manipulation of the gullible.

All of the Indic traditions speak of liberation as liberation of the mind of its delusions and attachments (raga-dvesha)to sensory pleasures and pain.

Conceptions of Heaven as an “eternal place of pleasure” comes from a very un-evolved understanding and level of consciousness.

Imagine an ideology whose ultimate goal is to live in a pub and a w house.

Your mind is the problem. That is the mind craves that fantasy.

In the Indic notion these are temporary states of the mind/jivatma. All progress happens only when one returns and takes a body.
