I personally believe that you should not hold more than 5 different altcoins.
Remember this,
if you want to grow your portfolio and have small capital,
Concentrate your portfolio on 3-5 solid picks.
If you have a large portfolio and want to protect it,
Diversify with 5-10 max.
This way,
You maximize the upside while limiting downside.
In other words,
The less capital, the less coins you should hold.
