While Bitcoin enthusiasts are preaching the "spike" narrative in crypto bear markets, zooming in on the original Bitcoin logo shows a small orange line from the background transitioning into a white "₿".
While Satoshi Nakamoto is credited as the anonymous creator of Bitcoin. But they often don't realize that community members, miners, developers, designers, hodlers and investors are helping to realize the original vision with their selfless contributions. However, such a significant contribution was found to carry an imperfection invisible to the naked eye for more than 12 years.
On November 12, 2010, bitcointalk.org member bitboy posted the vector files for the iconic Bitcoin logo, which is widely accepted around the world. While Bitcoin enthusiasts are preaching the “spike” narrative in crypto bear markets, zooming in on the original Bitcoin logo shows a small orange line from the background transitioning into a white “₿”.
This information was first revealed by Crypto Twitter member @_Bosch_. However, he later shared an updated Bitcoin logo after removing the sign and improving the stylistic proportions. Upon further investigation, @skyler_fs, also a member of the community, found that none of the curves in the ₿ logo were smooth .
Obviously, this "revelation" does not affect the functioning of Bitcoin. Thus, community members did not show any concern regarding the Bitcoin logo error. Even if someone created new vectors after fixing the bugs, it wouldn't gain mainstream acceptance unless the community decided otherwise.
