According to Odaily, decentralized derivatives trading platform dYdX has announced the closure of its v3 version on October 28, 2024, at 20:05 (UTC+8). From now until the closure date, the v3 exchange will operate normally, but users are advised to close their positions and withdraw USDC as soon as possible. After October 30, users will be able to withdraw the full value of their accounts, including any open positions, from the Ethereum smart contract. dYdX has assured that user funds will remain safe and can be withdrawn indefinitely from the smart contract. This closure only affects v3 users, and other versions like dYdX Chain (v4) will not be impacted. Meanwhile, dYdX plans to focus resources on developing the Unlimited version, which is scheduled for release this fall.
