According to Foresight News, a wallet address marked as the bankrupt cryptocurrency hedge fund Three Arrows Capital (3AC) unexpectedly purchased an NFT today. This occurred due to an oversight by Teneo, the company handling 3AC's bankruptcy proceedings, which missed an NFT bid from three years ago.
Previously, the 3AC wallet had bid 20 ETH (equivalent to $58,800) for the NFT 'Ninja Village' by artist SeerLight on August 21, 2021. This bid was accepted on Friday by its previous owner, @anonymoux. According to data from SuperRare, @anonymoux had originally purchased the NFT in October 2021 for 100 ETH (equivalent to $348,700).
