According to U.Today, Elon Musk, the world's wealthiest individual, recently made a significant statement about the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) software. During his visit to the Cannes Lions conference, Musk discussed a variety of topics, including his personal wealth management and the fast-spreading use of AI.

In an interview with Mark Read, CEO of the large advertising agency WPP Plc, Musk answered questions on a range of subjects. He clarified his previous comments directed at certain advertisers, stating that he did not want to be blackmailed with money over free speech. Musk's comments were not aimed at all advertisers, but specifically at those he had previously criticized, including Bob Iger, the CEO of Disney.

One of the key topics Musk addressed was the rapid spread of AI. He shared a conversation he had with his son, a university student, about the use of AI in academic writing. Musk's son confirmed that all his classmates were using AI to assist them in their writing. Musk did not specify whether this AI-based software was used for plagiarism checks or to bypass anti-plagiarism programs.

In December, Musk predicted that within less than three years, AI would surpass human capabilities in all areas, including writing novels of the caliber of J.K. Rowling and discovering new principles of physics.

In the same interview, Read asked Musk about his personal wealth management. Musk, currently worth $214.1 billion, humorously responded that he has a 'big money bin' where he goes swimming, adding, 'You got to get exercise somehow.' This response elicited laughter from the audience.
