According to BlockBeats, venture capital firm Pantera Capital has announced a $5 million investment in Everclear to support the development of its cross-chain settlement layer technology. Everclear, formerly known as Connext, has been dedicated to solving the issue of asset transfers between blockchain networks since 2017.

The company's latest settlement layer is a decentralized network designed to achieve inter-chain liquidity settlement and purification through complex intent resolution solutions and its independently developed optimistic rollup technology. This is expected to reduce the cost and complexity of cross-chain transactions by five times.

Furthermore, Everclear's settlement layer supports custom settlement logic, allowing any blockchain to connect without barriers, promoting widespread network growth.
