According to Odaily, a survey conducted in collaboration between Web3 Finance Club and Request Finance has revealed that professionals in the Web3 industry earn significantly more than their counterparts in traditional finance. The report, which surveyed 900 Web3 industry professionals, showed an average income growth of 27%. Certain positions, such as accountants, saw an income increase of up to 128%.

The survey also found that 92% of respondents work remotely, a figure that far exceeds the global average. However, the Web3 industry still has a gender pay gap, with women's average income being 46% lower than men's. Nearly half of the Web3 industry professionals receive part or all of their compensation in cryptocurrency. Of these, 41.7% of respondents receive at least part of their payment in cryptocurrencies such as stablecoins or company tokens.

The survey also revealed that nearly half of the respondents reported having a fixed salary, while the other half operate on a variable pay model, with bonuses potentially reaching 50% or more of their base salary. A significant 63% of Web3 industry professionals receive part of their compensation in the form of equity.
