According to PANews, Web3 game development platform Immutable has announced that it will provide dedicated zkEVM chains with full support from the Immutable platform. These game-specific chains will form part of the Immutable Nexus, a chain ecosystem with shared liquidity, accessibility, and security, in conjunction with the public Immutable zkEVM blockchain, shared liquidity services, and partner network.
The Immutable Nexus is an interconnected blockchain system composed of the public Immutable zkEVM chain and all dedicated zkEVM chains on Immutable. Each dedicated zkEVM chain will adopt the same technology stack as the Immutable zkEVM, but will offer unique customization options to meet the needs of specific game studios. These options include dedicated block space, the ability to configure local ERC-20 for fee payment and staking, and ready-made blockchain hosting services.
In addition, the Immutable Nexus will include a series of ecosystem partners and cross-chain liquidity services to ensure that these chains do not operate in isolation, and games can share the network effects provided by Immutable. Ecosystem partners will ensure the consistency of cross-chain functions and provide key services to promote the economic development of games. On the other hand, liquidity services represent a set of APIs that can transfer funds between all chains within the Immutable Nexus, allowing users to have a simple, single balance in their wallets and make quick transfers between chains.
