According to BlockBeats, the mainnet staking event of Bitcoin's second-layer network, Merlin Chain, has been ongoing for 23 days, with the total value locked (TVL) surpassing $3 billion. Of this amount, Bitcoin ecosystem assets account for up to 91%, including $1.75 billion worth of BTC and $980 million worth of BRC-20 assets.
In the past week, the number of transactions on Merlin Chain's pilot mainnet exceeded 1.2 million, and the number of active addresses surpassed 300,000. It is expected that Merlin Chain will launch its DApp onboarding event in early March, with over 100 DApps currently in the process of integration and preparation for launch.
