I recently participated in a BIO airdrop and wanted to share my experience. To qualify, I invested the equivalent of 10 USDT in BNB (priced at 1 BNB = 702 USDT) and locked it for 10 days.
At the end of the lock-up period, I received BIO tokens worth around 0.07 USDT. However, during this time, the BNB market declined. When I converted my BNB back to USDT, the price had dropped to 1 BNB = 697 USDT. This resulted in a 0.50 USDT loss on my initial 10 USDT investment.
Taking into account the 0.07 USDT worth of BIO tokens I received, my net loss after 10 days came to 0.43 USDT.
This experience demonstrates the potential risks and limited rewards of participating in airdrops with small investments. Even "free" tokens can incur costs due to market volatility.
