Metaplanet, a Japanese listed company, has announced on November 28th that it is planning to raise up to 9.5 billion yen (approximately US$62 million) through the use of new share subscription rights. This move aims to expedite its Bitcoin accumulation efforts. New share subscription rights, also known as new share pre-emption rights, provide current stockholders with the opportunity to preemptively subscribe to new shares in the company.
