Arkhives refer to specialized data cores crafted from pieces of Lopat's debris that contain all #Lopati knowledge and experiences. These cores were given to each ship and asteroid community of the Lopati people before their departure from their home system, which was destroyed by a celestial calamity. The Arkhives are kept secret from outsiders due to the potential value of the knowledge they contain. The Lopati return to their home system every so often to share new Arkhive data with the asteroid colonies and receive new data collected by them, in an act known as "The Pilgrimage".
