Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) io.net is expanding its GPU Compute connection services to Zero 1 in a bid to advance the development of decentralized AI (DeAI).

io.net, a DePIN platform offering high-performance GPU compute power, announced an expansion of its network partners as decentralized AI platform Zero 1 Labs starts leveraging io.net’s GPU compute network. The collaboration sees Zero 1 benefit from expanded compute power, which is expected to accelerate the development of DeAI on the platform starting with the training of AI agents for Keymaker, its open marketplace.

In addition, the strategic partnership will allow developers and users on Zero 1 to access demand-based, cost-effective GPU compute, making it easier and cheaper for them to leverage its tools to build and deploy decentralized AI applications.

Zero 1 Expands Toolkits For DeAI Developers

Zero 1 is a proof of stake-based decentralized AI ecosystem that enables innovators, developers and users to build optimized DeAI applications and tools with Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE).

The ecosystem ensures secure data governance and complete privacy for applications via its Cypher FHE-EVM Layer, which ensures security and privacy at the AI computation level.

The partnership with io.net will enable the platform to add to its computing power, starting with Keymaker, Zero1’s multimodal AI marketplace. The marketplace provides an open platform for DeAI developers and users to create autonomous agents. It currently features more than 100 DeAI tools designed to streamline the creation, access and discoverability of DeAI apps. It’s particularly popular with developers seeking to create highly effective on-chain AI agents.

AI agents are seeing high growth and adoption rates around different economic sectors, and Web 3 is no different. This innovation operates as autonomous systems that use artificial intelligence to perform tasks without human intervention. AI agents is gaining traction in the Web 3 space, offering particular utility such as enhancing trading opportunities and checking smart contracts.

Developers looking to launch AI agents across the multichain landscape will be able to tap into enhanced Zero1 tooling for training and optimization with the aid of io.net’s GPU compute.

More Details On The Partnership

Apart from the GPU compute collaboration, io.net and Zero 1 Labs also agreed to collaborate on other advancements across the two ecosystems. The two entities will work together on several joints including building their synergies with their developer communities and strategic partner ties.

The partnership saw the two ecosystems commit to fostering innovation in the AI space by building a developer community through various community initiatives such as hackathons and bounty programs. These events will provide opportunities for developers to collaborate and showcase their experiences, further enriching the DeAI community.

Additionally, Zero 1 and io.net will engage in a strategic exchange of partner resources, enabling projects building in Zero1’s DeAI ecosystem to have access to high-performance resources and advanced AI expertise from io.net.

Lastly, the partnership with io.net is expected to move Zero 1’s ecosystem towards growing its market share of the  DeAI developer market while minimizing hardware and infrastructure costs. In the process, it will accelerate innovation within the decentralized AI space by empowering builders to launch AI agents that support new on-chain use cases.
