The exchange confirmed the leak and ownership of the game. Binance also announced that a team of developers was still working on the game to fine-tune user experience ahead of its release. According to the announcement, Binance will continue to develop and launch the game despite the leak.

Binance apologized for any inconvenience caused by the leak through the announcement. The exchange promised to investigate individual cases of users who might have been affected by the leak. The exchange also noted that the launch dates will be announced soon.

Binance cautioned users against potential scams and hacks from malicious individuals who might attempt to impersonate the exchange and make false announcements. The exchange also issued the official Telegram bot for the game and an official communication channel.

The Moonbix platform is set to be the first Play-to-Earn (P2E) game from the Binance exchange. The game will incorporate rewards with space-themed gameplay in the form of cryptocurrencies post-launch while offering participants a new opportunity to earn.

Participants set to earn crypto via Moonbix’s P2E feature

The Moonbix gameplay will be based on a space vicinity. Users will control a spaceship with claw-like features that collect items such as gifts and yellow stones scattered in the space along the spaceship’s path.

The items will possess in-game value and classify participants on the leaderboard. Participants who reach the top of the leaderboard will earn rewards in digital assets according to their success.

Players will also boost their leaderboard rankings by playing quick-drop games like Blum. In-game tokens earned while playing the game will be usable within the game. Binance has set strict rules for Moonbix participation, including a mandatory KYC process and linking the game to their Binance accounts.

Participating in the Moonbix game will mandate all users to comply with Binance’s specific terms and conditions for prize promotions and the standard Binance terms of use and privacy policy. The crypto exchange will have the right to disqualify users if they engage in dishonest behavior. These behaviors include market manipulation and bulk registration of accounts. The exchange also bears the right to amend, add, or replace any terms of use without prior notice.
