According to Odaily, MultiversX core developer Robert Sasu responded to Vitalik's comments on the early stages of cost reduction in L2, ZK-SNARKS, and account abstraction. Sasu highlighted that centralized sequencers can be quite affordable on truly decentralized networks. He praised Rollups-based networks like Taiko but noted that they are currently limited in number. Sasu expressed hope that more people would migrate to Rollups. He also emphasized that Layer 1 (L1) should scale, as this would help eliminate unnecessary Layer 2 (L2) solutions, bringing significant benefits to the foundational layer.
