Binance Launchpool has made a step toward adoption of Hamster Kombat, the most popular Toncoin game. The HK tokens will also be eligible for the Binance Super Earn program.

Binance Launchpool will add HMSTR tokens to its Launchpool program, ahead of the token generation event and the launch of trading. All Binance users will be able to lock BNB and FDUSD for a predetermined period, to receive an additional airdrop of HMSTR.

The Launchpool will be available from September 19 until September 26, when the HMSTR token unlock and trading are expected to start. Binance will make a separate announcement on when Super Earn terms and conditions will drop. Binance will sponsor a high annualized APR for the limited 7-day Super Earn program, with the goal of popularizing HMSTR and encouraging holding.

Binance Launchpool took a similar approach to the listing of Toncoin (TON), by first rewarding users for locking liquidity. Binance already carries TON, as well as Notcoin (NOT), the first airdropped tap game token.

The Binance listing announcement arrives after Hamster Kombat secured OKX and Bybit listings. The token takes the longer route to its launch, to compete with fast-tracked meme tokens. Additional spot markets will b

Binance to offer four trading pairs for HMSTR

This time, Binance has abandoned its skepticism for the Toncoin ecosystem and its Telegram-based communities. Hamster Kombat will gain immediate listings, coinciding with all other major exchanges and DEX.

The game will immediately trade in the most common Binance pairs against stablecoins and fiat, HMSTR/USDT, HMSTR/BNB, HMSTR/FDUSD, and HMSTR/TRY.

The game token will be unlocked gradually, similar to Dogs (DOGS), to be airdropped to all eligible wallets. Hamster Kombat recently slashed some of the eligible addresses due to evidence of Sybill attacks and multi-accounting. The remaining wallets may receive a higher allocation after completing daily tasks and challenges.

Toncoin airdrops have gained attention as a tool to receive a relatively high allocation of valuable tokens. Tap-to-earn and idle games are also replacing more involved airdrop tasks, requiring staking or paying high fees. Hamster Kombat will be the biggest airdrop on Toncoin so far, to distribute more than 1B tokens.

The game reports more than 200M users globally, similar to other casual or idle games. However, the highest allocations may go to top users. Additionally, Hamster Kombat has seen a disproportionate level of subscriptions to views, with over 50% of Telegram users also subscribing to the game. Some bot activity is also suspected, to avoid playing directly.

HMSTR expectations slashed with supply inflation

HMSTR is expected to launch with a supply of 100B tokens, of which Binance Launchpool will distribute 3B. The rewards from Binance surpass the airdrop to players, skewing the ratio in favor of crypto users. The expectation for HMSTR was to have only 10B tokens and command a significant market price. The distributions to all participants will also be proportionately higher.

HMSTR tokens will also go toward the team, with allocations for influencers, ecosystem developments, and liquidity pools.

After the launch, HMSTR owners will also be able to lock the new asset for staking, subject to hourly staking caps.

The addition of HMSTR follows the rapid listing of Dogs (DOGS), another high-profile community on Telegram. Nearly 27% of all DOGS activity is concentrated in one Binance pairing.

Previously, Binance has been conservative about listing new assets but has secured liquidity for the new Toncoin tokens. Binance also launched a risky derivative product tied to Neiro on Ethereum (NEIRO), one of the recently created meme tokens.

The launch of HMSTR and its wide distribution may be another stress test for the Toncoin network. During the distribution of DOGS, Toncoin had two periods of congestion causing a network outage. The other risk are copied or faked HMSTR tokens, currently trading on DEX. The actual token has not yet been generated and will only move through Toncoin, with access to Ston.Fi and other native DEX.

Hamster Kombat has also retained Gotbit as its partner. Gotbit has also been involved in previous token launches, using aggressive market-making techniques soon after the launch. Gotbit was also recently involved with Ethervista and the VISTA token, achieving high initial volumes.
