On Aug. 30, 2024, the X account Lookonchain shared that a wallet linked to Vitalik Buterin had moved 800 ETH. “Vitalik.eth (@VitalikButerin) transferred 800 ETH ($2.01M) to a multisig wallet again 40 minutes ago,” the account noted. “The multisig wallet later swapped 190 ETH for 477K USDC. On Aug. 9, Vitalik also transferred 3,000 ETH ($8.04M) to this multisig wallet.”

At 1:15 p.m. EDT on Aug. 30, following the 800 ETH moved, Arkham Intelligence data shows Buterin holds 240,171 ETH worth around $590 million using current ether exchange rates.
