Briefly, here's how it works:
1. Select an indicator for the bot to analyze charts
2. Modify the code of this indicator using GPT
3. Bot shows us optimal entry points for trades using the indicator
Sounds complex, but it's actually quite simple!!
1/➫ Select an Indicator
❍ Go to Tradingview and choose an indicator - there are many options, you can try whichever you want
For this thread, I've chosen the Bollinger Bands indicator
❍ Enable the indicator
❍ Go to source code
❍ Create working copy
❍ Name it
2/➫ Choose a Trading Strategy
Since the indicator is basic, I decided to choose a simple strategy too:
❍ Long position when price above Bollinger band
❍ Short position when price below Bollinger band
Close the long when encountering a short, and the opposite.
3/➫ Code modification
❍ Go to Code
❍ Click on More
❍ Conver code to v4 and to then v5
❍ Copy Code
❍ Write the script
❍ Or copy script that I used
4/➫ Fixing all the errors
❍ Copy the error and paste it into ChatGPT
❍ Write "fix the code error"
❍ Insert it back into the trading view
Repeat this process until all errors are resolved.
5/➫ Testing the Strategy
❍ I suggest starting with a small amount that you're comfortable losing to test the strategy.
6/➫ Final Thoughts
❍ This is far from a perfect strategy, and one indicator won't guarantee 100 successful trades out of 100
❍ So, try it out and always remember to DYOR and invest only the amoun you're ready to lose
