- France's financial watchdog, AMF, is now accepting applications for Crypto Asset Service Providers (CASPs), six months before the EU's MiCA regulations kick in.
- From Dec. 30, firms offering any of ten crypto services need CASP authorization, covering Anti-Money Laundering, cybersecurity, and more.
- MiCA will replace France’s PACTE regime, giving firms until July 1, 2026, to transition.
- CASP authorization allows firms to operate across the EU. Over 100 firms need to comply.
