According to BlockBeats, ZA Bank in Hong Kong has announced its position as the first bank in Asia to offer cryptocurrency trading services to retail users. Starting November 25, the bank's app will facilitate the buying and selling of Bitcoin and Ethereum using Hong Kong dollars and US dollars.
Hong Kong residents can access these services by opening an investment account with ZA Bank and completing a risk assessment process. The entry fee for trading is set at $70 or HKD 600, with a transaction commission of $1.99 or HKD 15 per trade. Additionally, a platform fee of 1.5% of the transaction amount is applied, with a minimum charge of $1.99 or HKD 15 per transaction. However, the bank has announced a waiver of the commission fee and a reduction of the platform fee to 0.8% of the transaction amount until the end of June next year.
