Trade Analysis #12: $WLD and When to Buy the Dip.

WLD Price Drop

The price of $WLD has dropped significantly in the past few days, reaching a low of $1.74 (an 85% decrease from its all-time high).

Buying Low with Caution

While it might be tempting to buy low during a price dip, I would advise against it based on the current momentum. In the past, I've had negative experiences trying to buy low in similar situations where the price continued to drop further. And I sincerely don't want you to repeat the same mistake.

So, when is a good time to buy low?

1. Wait for the Bearish Momentum to Slow Down

Look for a second 1-day low with RSI divergence (price drops lower, but RSI is higher than the first bottom). Ideally, the second bottom should also have lower trading volume.

2. Price Reversal Signals

After the second bottom forms, wait for the price to close above the 1-day Bollinger Band middle band. Then, look for the Bollinger Bands to start squeezing (indicating a consolidation phase).

This is when the smart money accumulates.

Whales, institutions, and experienced traders often accumulate coins during this consolidation phase.

This is where I usually Buy Low as well.

Note: Even after the accumulation phase, there might still have occasional small price drops.
