According to Foresight News, Nuffle Labs, an independent entity spun off from the NEAR Foundation, has released its technical roadmap. The roadmap reveals that Nuffle Labs will concentrate on providing modular infrastructure for other projects in the last two quarters of 2024.

The specific roadmap includes the launch of the NEAR Fast Finality Layer (NFFL) mainnet at the beginning of the third quarter. The third quarter will also see the development of cross-chain interaction NFFL applications. NEAR DA stateless verification will reduce NEAR validator hardware requirements in the third quarter. Chain Signatures, a new protocol using MPC technology that allows NEAR accounts to send transactions to any ECDSA chain, will be launched on the mainnet in the third quarter.

In previous news from Foresight, Nuffle Labs announced in June that it had completed a strategic financing of $13 million, led by Electric Capital. Nuffle Labs has built the NEAR data availability layer (NEAR DA), NEAR Fast Finality Layer (NFFL), and other products in the NEAR modular product suite.
