Zcash Open Development Lab has proposed the Ironwood shielded pool after ZEC fell more than 50% from approximately $630 to $303. According to NS3.AI, the proposal would require formal verification and multiple independent security audits before any deployment.

Shielded Labs said a critical vulnerability affecting Orchard was fixed before it was publicly disclosed. The group added that it found no evidence the issue was exploited.
