🤝 Mining company #RiotPlatforms has submitted an offer to the board of directors of rival Bitfarms to purchase all marketable shares at a price of $2.3.
The total amount of the takeover offer is estimated at $950 million. The proposed share purchase rate provides for a 20% premium to the weighted average quotations for the month.
Update: Bitfarms, despite the proposed overpayment, rejected Riot's offer, saying it "significantly undervalues the company and its growth prospects."
Shareholders also requested a non-disclosure agreement to continue a constructive dialog
