One thing that many traders need to focus on is proper risk management. You will come across many people jump into trading thinking they will make huge profits instantaneously. Instead they lose all that money and complain about how things went south etc.
It does not work that way!
The market reacts to various things - which are not in our control. Therefore, it is better to minimise your risk. Exercise and learn proper risk management.
Take profits and use stop losses. Would you rather close a trade at a 10% profit or close trade at a 50% loss? Take the small wins. Little steps are going to go a long way.
Nobody was ever hurt by taking profits. Nobody was ever hurt by managing their risk.
