The Solana-based token, SWEENEY, accumulated over $10 million in trading volume within two hours of its launch on July 2nd, thanks to multiple promotional tweets from Sweeney's hacked account.
Starting from 6:15 PM UTC, the price of SWEENEY fell nearly 90% in just over an hour, although it has since rebounded. Data from DEX Screener shows that its current market value is $1.2 million, down from a peak of $3.85 million. The administrator of a Telegram channel, which was shared on Sweeney's hacked account, appears to be responsible for this hacking incident.
