According to U.Today, Shytoshi Kusama, the elusive lead of SHIB, has sparked curiosity among the Shiba Inu community with his recent tweets. Kusama hinted at his possible public appearance at the upcoming IVS2024 event in Kyoto, Japan, which is the largest start-up conference in the country. He expressed his excitement about the event and promised to 'show the world the importance of Web3.'

In one of his tweets, Kusama wrote, 'I've been quite shy and quiet these past few years... but it's time that changes.' This statement has led to speculation that he might reveal his real identity at the conference, after years of maintaining anonymity under his pseudonym. Kusama has previously mentioned his intention to reveal his identity, following advice from his mentor to 'take the mask off.'

The IVS2024 conference, scheduled to take place between July 4 and July 6, will focus on 'how Web2, Web3 and AI are shaping the world.' Kusama's potential appearance at the event has added to the anticipation surrounding it.

In another development, the Shiba Inu community noticed that Kusama had changed his location multiple times in a short span. He initially set his location as 'the UK,' which was soon changed to Nice, France, and then to Kyoto, Japan. Kusama's frequent location changes have been a topic of interest among the SHIB community. Earlier this year, he was seen moving rapidly from one country and city to another, including several large U.S. cities, Singapore, and Dubai. Kusama later clarified that his travels were related to pitching the SHIB team’s plan for a new development to major investors, which resulted in raising $12 million for developing the layer-3 solution for the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
